Job Description:
SSM Health, a Catholic, not-for-profit health system, is seeking
dedicated Surgical Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our dynamic team

crucial role in maintaining the health standards of the communities
we serve, ensuring that each surgical procedure is conducted with
the utmost care and professionalism. This position offers a chance

growth and development. Provide preoperative and postoperative care
to patients undergoing surgical procedures. Monitor, record, and
report symptoms and changes in patients' conditions. Act as a
patient advocate and maintain patient confidentiality. Administer
medications as prescribed by the attending surgeon. Coordinate with
healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate
patient care plans. Maintain a safe and clean working environment
by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. Educate
patients and their families on surgical procedures, potential
risks, and post-surgery care. Strong clinical skills in a surgical
environment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems Ability to
work effectively in a fast-paced, stressful environment Medical
Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Oklahoma.
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from the American Heart
Association. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification
preferred.
