Overview This role involves providing direct patient care in all
facets of respiratory therapy, following the directives of
physicians. You will also consult with doctors regarding the
effectiveness of treatments and serve as an advanced resource for
both medical staff and nursing teams concerning respiratory care.

Responsibilities: Deliver direct patient care in all areas of
respiratory therapy, adhering to physician orders. Consult with
physicians regarding the effectiveness of respiratory treatments.
Serve as a knowledgeable resource for medical staff and nursing on
respiratory care matters. Carry out additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications: Education: Completion of a CoArc accredited
Respiratory Care program. Licensure: Must meet state licensing
criteria and possess a current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP)
license. Certifications: Must hold the Registered Respiratory
Therapist (RRT) credential from the National Board for Respiratory
Care (NBRC). PALS certification is required for those working in
the Emergency Room. Other: Physical requirements include the
ability to push, pull, and grip up to 50 lbs, as well as pinch up
to 10 lbs, with minimal kneeling, crouching, and crawling.
Equipment: Proficient in using all relevant respiratory care
equipment. Preferred Education: Acute Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
certification. Preferred Experience: Background in critical care is
