We are seeking a local candidate for this role! We would love to see you in our OKC office Tuesday-Thursday to experience our culture!A Business Development Analyst is part of the Companys Business Development Department and is responsible for business analysis/growth and day-to-day business operations of our subsidiary business. The individual will handle merchandising responsibilities, manage third party marketplace sales channels, and work with internal departments for operational business needs. In the short term, the individual will also help with sales and customer service. In addition, the individual should have an entrepreneurial mindset and be able to offer insights and recommendations to grow and streamline our business, which are backed by logic and/or analysis.Day in the life of a Business Development Analyst:1) Business Growth and Analysis:Ability to make detailed recommendations backed by logic and/or analysis to improve the traffic to our website, increase our customer conversion rate, and to reengage customers.Understanding of the competitive landscape, what has worked for each competitor, and what may work for our company to grow our business.Thinking outside the box. Pursuing new growth initiatives which have not been tried in our industry and evaluating the performance of the initiative.Ability to turn customer feedback from calls, emails, and chat into actionable insights to improve and streamline our business.Collaborating with the Merchandising team to understand the current market conditions and inventory availability to run promotions.Assist with various marketing efforts as needed.2) Business Operations:Manage inventory and pricing on the companys 150+ precious metals listings by collaborating with Product Managers and the Merchandising team. Ensure that the companys product listings are competitive with other dealers and margins are at acceptable levels.Assist with third party marketplace business operations on eBay and Walmart by submitting deals, monitoring seller metrics, and handling disputes. Familiarity with selling on marketplaces is a plus.Oversee the day-to-day business operations from order placement/payment, to order fulfillment, to post shipment service. Work cross departmentally as needed with the Operations, Accounting, IT, Marketing and Merchandising departments to handle various customer and business needs.In the short-term, answer inbound customer calls to provide education and information about ordering, creating accounts and answering questions the customer may have. Respond to customer emails and messages. Assist with answering customer questions through a chat interface.Manage the companys review score on Apple, Android and Shopper Approved.Assist in business support for other Business Development initiatives as needed.APMEX is a multibillion-dollar eCommerce company that is the leader in Precious Metals.
