Job Description:
Duties The primary purpose of this position is: as an Air
Reserve Technician (ART) to serve as the Maintenance Operations
Superintendent providing staff support to unit maintenance
activities including but not limited to contingency/war/mobility
planning; budgeting; maintenance planning and
schedulingproductivity data analysisand training, maintenance
operations centermaintenance supply support: manpower; support
agreements; and otherPlans, organizes, coordinates, and directs
full-time activities of the Maintenance Operations and advises the
Maintenance Group (MXG) Senior ART concerning assigned
programsDUTIES: Duty 1 - Manages, develops, and directs key
programs and activities for Maintenance Operations and the
Maintenance Group (MXG)Duty 2 - Directs the accomplishment of a
variety of special projects/studies for the wing/groupDuty 3 -
Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilitiesDuty 4 -
Represents Maintenance Operations at conferences, working groups,
management reviews us well us with a variety of installation und
functional area organizationsDuty 5 - Provides maintenance support

must have at least one (1) year of specialized experience at the

of specialized experience includes both administrative and
technical work, maintenance logistics support services to an AFRC
wing; staff/advisory support in such key areas as: Maintenance Data
Systems Analysis (MDSA), Maintenance Supply Liaison (MSL), Plans,
Scheduling and Documentation (PS&D), Maintenance Training,
Programs and Resources to include Depot Level Repair, Engine
Management and Maintenance Operations Center (MOC); program
responsibility in Maintenance Programs and Resources consisting of
contingency/ mobility/war planning, budget, manpower, support
agreements, facilities and deploymentsNOTE: Must be reflected in
your resumeOR EDUCATION: Ph.Dor equivalent doctoral degree or 3
full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading
to such a degree which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and

AND EDUCATION: A combination of education and experience may be

FACTS:--- This is an Air Reserve Technician (ART) positionThe
incumbent is required to meet and maintain Air Force Reserve
requirementsThe incumbent's primary responsibilities are ART
duties; however, the incumbent may be assigned some non-ART duties,
generally not to exceed 30 percent of total responsibilities.---
Work may occasionally require travel away from the normal duty
station on military or commercial aircraft.--- May be required to
work unusual tour of duty or extended hours during emergencies or
surge scenarios.--- Positions covered by this SPD must be reviewed
for proper "Testing Designated Position (TDP)" coding to comply
with the AF Civilian Drug Demand Reduction Program (AFI
