The Opportunity
The Electrical Engineering Design Manager for Conventional
Generation and Hydrogenwillfunction in a mid-level engineer
capacity, or as a technical specialist. In this role, you will have
the opportunity to:
ReviewRFP documents.
Puttogether specifications for equipment to send outto bid.
Completeelectrical designs for proposals.
Create a conceptual design package for estimating purposes.
Exposure to leadership and development opportunities.
The Team
Black & Veatch's Energy Utilities Proposal team, belonging to our
Energy & Process Industries market sector, provides conventional,
renewable, sustainable, reliable, and integrated power solutions to
clients. Our team consists of Conceptual Design Managers, Proposal
Managers, Proposal Specialists, and Marketing Specialists who work
together to create proposals that win business for Black &
Veatch.

Management Responsibilities
Acts in capacity of a "lead person." Does not have management
responsibility for the people to whom they provide work
direction.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience designing for conventional generation projects (i.e Gas,
Coal, Hydrogen).
Experience working with proposals
Ability to mentor less experienced engineers
Minimum Qualifications
Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering from either a
recognized accredited program in their home country or the country
in which the professional is practicing.
Minimum of 11 years related work experience.
