Description Desktop Support Technician candidates will be interested in Robert Half's new job opening, if they have a flair for clearly breaking down and explaining convoluted technical information in a way that is easily understood by non-technical users. This position is ideal for self-starters with strong problem-solving skills and a passion for working in an innovative environment. This Desktop Support Analyst role is long-term contract / temporary to hire in nature and is based in the Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, area.
Major responsibilities

• 
  
• 
  Preserve, inspect, and mend computer systems, hardware, printers, and computer peripherals
  
  
• 
  Interact regularly and effectively with ticket submitters
  
  
• 
  Create records of daily data communication transactions, issues and remedial actions taken or installation activities
  
  
• 
  Offer computer desktop support in accordance with established policies and procedures
  
  
• 
  Offer your support on a variety of computer hardware and software issues by identifying, researching, and resolving technical problems
  
  
• 
  Organize hardware repairs with the appropriate vendors
  
  
• 
  Fix computer problems, and recommend appropriate action/solutions Requirements - Ability to write reports, business correspondence, user instructions, and procedure manuals

  Desktop support or related experience
  
  
• 
  Microsoft experience
  
  
• 
  Desktop Application experience
  
  
• 
  Knowledge of Basic Network Troubleshooting
