futureNorthrop Grumman Technology Services is seeking a Sr.
Principal Supply Chain Subcontract Specialist to join its team of
qualified, diverse professionals engaged in supporting dynamic,
complex, and challenging programs.Shall be responsible for source
selection from contract proposal to execution phases for
specialized goods and/or services. Coordinates and collaborates
with key stakeholders such as contracts, engineering, quality,
planning, operations, and program management. Owns contractual
management of multiple suppliers, develops subcontract
specifications, develop negotiation plans, assist, and review
subcontract statements of work, and terms and conditions for the
procurement of specialized materials, equipment, and/or services.
Execute teaming and non-disclosure agreements as needed.Prepares
proposal packages, analyzes, and evaluates proposals, negotiates
subcontract provisions, selects, or recommends subcontractors,
writes subcontracts, and awards finalized subcontracts. In
conjunction with quality, evaluates and monitors supplier quality
and reliability, as well as supplier ability to support required
delivery schedules. Identifies strategies and opportunities to
reduce cost, improve efficiency and manage risk through strategic
and targeted negotiations.Manages performance of subcontracts,
ensures compliance with all public law requirements as well as
company (and business) policies and procedures including
import/export regulations. Employs sound business practices and
assesses supplier performance as part of follow-up activities.
Reviews and approves supplier payment as needed. Utilizes process
to drive quality, efficiency, continuous improvement to ensure that
risk and mitigation strategies are identified and developed.Basic
Qualifications:
- Bachelors' degree and a minimum 10 years of supply chain,
contracts, business management and/or related field OR Master's
degree and a minimum of8 years of supply chain, contracts, business
management and/or related field. 14 additional years of experience
may be considered in lieu of degree
- Ability to collaborate with program management and other
multi-functional teams
- Ability to multi-task and make sound decisions in a timely
manner
- Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to work in a very fast paced
environment
- Experience with Microsoft Office
- Ability to obtain a Secret ClearancePreferred Qualifications:
- Demonstrated strong leadership skills as well as the ability to
multi-task in a challenging environment
- Professional experience in a regulated industry; to include
Aerospace & Defense, Insurance, Financial Services,
Telecommunications
- SAP experience
- Working knowledge of FAR/DFARS and associated Federal
Contracting regulations
- Demonstrated experience with multiple contracting formats,
including Firm Fixed Price and/or Cost Reimbursable,
- Familiarity with terms and conditions, and/or special contract
clauses/types such as: long term agreements and intellectual
property agreements.
- Demonstrated negotiation experience Salary Range: $87,500 USD -
$131,300 USD Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in
addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward
individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in
company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions
may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop
