Preferred candidates for the Neurophysiology Tech I role will have
prior work experiences in neurodiagnostics or have an
post-secondary educational background in neurophysiology that would
support growth in this role.
Under direct supervision, assists in the performance of a variety
of Neurophysiology procedures that aid in the diagnosis and
treatment of nerve and brain disorders.

* Records and identifies various Neurophysiology data in various

EDUCATION: High school graduate with some post-secondary college
education, in science or health related area.
EXPERIENCE: 1 year experience in Neurophysiology /
Neurodiagnostics, Nursing, direct patient care, health related
field OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATIONS/REGISTRATIONS: Current American Heart
Associated BLS. Registered / Certified Neurodiagnostics
Technologist strongly preferred. Expectation: become registered and
/or certified Neurodiagnostics Technologist within 3 years of hire
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
* Ability to provide outstanding patient care.
* Some general knowledge of physiology.
* Cognitive and psychomotor skills required.
* Good verbal and written communication skills that allow relaying
of information in a clear, concise, and calm manner.
* Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships
with staff and physicians.
* Basic knowledge of computers.
