* FULL-TIME STARTING ANNUAL SALARY $35,000 PLUS BENEFITS* NorthCare's Child and Adolescent Clinic offers a variety of services to consumers in the Oklahoma City area. Clinicians provide outpatient therapy to children, adolescents, and their families to address emotional and behavioral concerns. Each family is provided a prompt intake appointment to develop a comprehensive service plan tailored to the unique strengths and needs of the child and family. In addition to offering traditional treatment methods, such as Play Therapy and Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, we have developed specialized programming to deliver evidence-based practice models, such as Parent-Child Interaction Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Brief Strategic Family Therapy, to the community. Over the course of treatment, our staff work in collaboration with various providers, schools, DHS and other organizations to meet the needs of each family. Due to the increasing need for mental health services, we have expanded to a staff of 26 therapists with varied backgrounds and interests. Our management team promotes growth potential, in terms of both staff levels and innovative programs. We emphasize staff development and provide numerous opportunities for consultation and training and for diversification of professional experience. Because we are an office-based program, our staff experience a network of supportiveness and a spirit of collaboration. The Child and Adolescent Clinic welcomes applicants who enjoy doing therapy and who appreciate a healthy work environment. Description: Carries a differentiated caseload involving highly complex and difficult situations requiring intensive clinical services and extensive professional diagnostic and treatment experience. Provides crisis services, individual therapy, family therapy, group therapy and case management, as indicated by treatment plan development. Maintains availability for in-office and mobile crisis intervention services one day per week and provides these services to consumers (if arranged with Program manager). Performs intake interviews, which includes the gathering of information about the consumer's symptoms, behavior, functioning, history, needs, goals and preferences. Obtains necessary releases and consents and advises the consumers about their rights and responsibilities. Provides clinical consultation and technical guidance to other professional staff. Participates in staff consultations for the purpose of case presentation and diagnostic and treatment planning for consumers. Participates in weekly, mandatory program staff meetings. Maintains clinical records in a timely manner as required by agency, state or federal funding sources and accreditation authorities. Completes all required forms and maintains same in a manner consistent with requirements. Spends at least 50% (or other percentage established by program manager and director) of work to accommodate consumer and family needs for evening appointments. Participates in trainings/workshops related to child and family therapy, evidenced-based practices and in expanding knowledge base in child mental health. Performs other duties as required and/or assigned by supervisor, manager, director and/or executive staff. Skills/Requirements Must be fluent in Spanish and English languages.. Requires a master's degree in psychology, social work or related human services field & the ability to obtain licensure in the state of Oklahoma with one of the mental health disciplines or under board approved supervision for licensure. Must have some experience working with children. Must be eligible to work in the united states. Must possess and provide verification of valid Oklahoma driver's license. Must maintain and provide current automobile liability insurance including uninsured motorist coverage. Local travel may be required. Must possess and maintain current certification in CPR, First Aid and CAPE certifications. If not current upon hire, must obtain CPR, First Aid and CAPE certifications within 30 days of employment with NorthCare. Must possess skill in the MS Word processing software and intermediate general computer skills. Casual professional dress is required. Must have current (within past year) TB test; or obtain within 30 days of employment. Must be able to move about facilities freely and sit for extended periods.
