SUMMARY:



The Welder is an important member of the manufacturing team and is responsible for the welding of various components.



ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• 
  
• Reads blueprint or job order for product.
  
• Tig weld per AWS D17.1 2000 weld standard
  
• Advises Lead when tooling becomes worn to the point that tooling can be replaced or repaired.
  
• Cleans and maintains workspace
  
• Welds products in weld fixtures per prints with little or no support.
  
• Fits materials into weld fixtures.
  
• Coordinates with manufacturing to ensure parts meet proper specifications.
  
• Verifies that parts are of high quality and exceed customer's expectations.
