Job Description:
As a leader of Paycom, the Supervisor of Commissions is
responsible for selecting and hiring the right members of the team,
developing professional growth with direct reports, casting vision
and managing metrics. This includes responsibility for the overall
team's success in terms of meeting expectations around incentive
compensation timeliness and accuracy, process governance for
controls and leading across the organization. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for leading, coaching and developing the
commissions and incentives teams
- Responsible for hiring personnel for adequate staffing
needs
- Responsible for assigning and managing work conducted within
the group
- Responsible for reviewing and maintaining expected KPI levels
based on existing service level agreement with internal
customers
- Collaborating with senior leadership to develop and optimize
incentive plans to drive performance in their departments and
leaders
- Responsible for design, administration, and monitoring of all
incentive compensation programs
- Develops, implements and manages compensation procedures and
practices for maintaining external competitiveness and internal
equity
- Develop appropriate communication tools for the field to
provide a comprehensive understanding of how their incentive plans
and award programs work
- Collaborate with sales leadership on optimizing sales
organization reporting to help drive sales performance
- Establish and maintain effective communication and coordination
with Paycom personnel and management
- Review all booked revenue on a weekly basis and verify booked
sales reports are sent weekly to the necessary parties.
- Oversee the commission process on a monthly basis to ensure
timely and accurate payments to reps.
- Review management reports for Director of Accounting each
week
- Ensure all C-Level reports are sent each week
- Responsible for managing the performance of at least 2 or more
direct reports. This includes:
- Holding regular one-on-one meetings with the employee to
discuss the employees' performance/metrics and for continuous
development of employees.
- Makes strong recommendations to department leaders regarding
the employee's performance in relation to development and
performance reviews and compensation.
- Manages the employee's performance including coaching,
performance improvement plans, counseling's and makes strong
recommendations regarding employee separations.
- Assist with special projects as needed
- Other duties as assigned Education/Certification:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or similar field with
Accounting emphasis or relevant organizational experience related
to management and leadership with a high focus on details and
execution. Experience:
- 4+ years in accounting/finance or similar role
- Proven leadership ability Skills/Abilities:
- Detail oriented with high level of attention to financial
accuracy.
- Highly skilled in dealing with financial and numeric data.
- Highly skilled in use of Excel spreadsheets and other
accounting software.
- Excellent writing and communication skills.
- Excellent work habits, including a willingness to work the
hours necessary to complete a task or project, especially when
important deadlines cause greater than normal departmental
