Job Description:

A company is looking for a Staff Applied Machine Learning Scientist in the E-commerce industry, offering a salary range of $175,000-190,000 plus equity, for a remote position in the USA.
Key Responsibilities:

Research, design, develop, and deploy machine learning models and algorithms for solving real-world problems in the retail industry
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into machine-learning solutions
Implement scalable machine learning pipelines and algorithms to process and analyze large-scale data

Qualifications:

Ph.D. or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Statistics, or a related field with a strong focus on machine learning
Extensive hands-on experience in developing and deploying machine learning models and algorithms in a real-world industry setting
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R and experience with machine learning libraries
Solid understanding of various machine learning techniques, including deep learning, ensemble methods, and probabilistic models
Experience with large-scale data processing frameworks and cloud computing platforms
