Job Purpose or Objective(s): Maintain a clean, sanitized and orderly kitchen to ensure the highest standards are achieved throughout the food & beverage operations. You will report to the Executive Steward.

Primary Tasks:

• You will thoroughly clean equipment and facilities to conform to proper sanitation standards.
• You will wash pots, pans, and traps while maintaining the neat appearance of working areas and cleaning equipment storage areas.
• you will clean and disinfect walls, sinks, countertops, floors, tables, chairs, refrigerators, microwaves, and other areas of food service areas.
• you will clean and replace floor mats.
• You will support dish room, operating dish machine.
• You will empty and clean garbage cans in dish area and throughout kitchen.
• You will perform other responsibilities as may be assigned.
  Job Requirements
  

• High school diploma or GED
• Obtain SERV Safe Certification
• Basic knowledge in the use of housekeeping/cleaning equipment and knowledge of chemicals as it relates to MSDS
• Understand government public health and, or safety regulations.
