Job Description:
The Lead Enterprise Data Architect is a critical member of the
Enterprise Architecture Team a with experience in Data Strategy,
Data Modeling, Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence; will
guide multi-functional project teams through definition,
deployment, and optimization stages to ensure division success.
An Enterprise Architect will bring to bear deep knowledge of cloud
technology and digital experience to align enterprise and solution
architecture to the IT Strategy. They would be a trusted advisor to
senior leadership in the organization to plan, implement and
optimize cross-channel digital solutions and experience
initiatives.
We're looking for Senior Enterprise Data Architect who can
comfortably lead enterprise - wide technical engagements. A
successful EA will have deep knowledge in enterprise architecture
and strategy who would be able to conduct interviews with the
business and technical leadership.
The ideal candidate should have relevant experience focused on
technical delivery and have strong foundation in Data Architecture.
Should be able to apply industry best practices to develop the
Architecture Strategy and key views of the Enterprise. The
candidate should have excellent executive presence and understand
the importance of solid cloud Architecture strategy to respond to
current digital challenges, while having the technical domain
expertise, passion, and leadership to successfully exploit digital
technologies.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Take ownership for the Data Architecture of multiple data products
including Enterprise Data
Engage with Partners, Developers, Architects, Product Managers and
Project Managers to facilitate, design and evolve Architecture for
the business division.
Experience in carrying out the assessment and promotion of IT
strategy for a large enterprise.
Ability to Whiteboard / brainstorm the technical architecture and
able to articulate the benefits from IT perspective.
Have a broad, enterprise-wide view of the business and varying
degrees of appreciation for strategy, processes, and capabilities,
enabling technologies, and governance
Act as an advisor to senior IT leadership on the emerging trends in
the Data Technology space
Able to brief and present to IT executive teams on progress of IT
strategy
Ability to define and communicate the "big picture" in terms of the
overall integrated solution (both functional and technical
components) and break it down into smaller manageable work
units.
Provide technical direction to a small team of fulltime employees
and contractors
Ensure alignment between business strategies, information
technology roadmap, and technical and tactical deployment
teams.
With minimal direction, lead the responsibility for the delivery of
Architecture designs and solution strategy on complex projects
Use deep business knowledge of cloud services to drive solution
architecture
Make recommendations and actively participate in making key
architecture / design decisions
Lead and be accountable for successful delivery of all technical
artifacts on time with high quality
Take a lead role in designing, specifying, and prototyping
sophisticated data models and data sets with a wide range of tools,
methods, and platforms.
Design a full-stack solution that fully integrates with Azure PaaS,
Salesforce and Pega cloud infrastructure from data flow, security,
DevOps, and other standpoints
Responsible for technology evaluations and recommend solutions to
effectively meet the strategic needs of the program
Job Requirements:
Experience level : 7 Years
Deep knowledge of data architecture and data management best
practices
Perform transformations, normalization, and data mapping for
structured and unstructured data for downstream systems using a
variety of tools and techniques for data wrangling including
applications, visualization, and analytics
5+ years experience with enterprise-sized data mart/warehouse
development
5+ years experience with designing physical and logical data
models
5+ years experience with designing solutions in Business
Intelligence
Hands on experience in Azure Data Technologies
Hands on experience in Azure Synapse Analytics, Spark, Scala
Experience in database pipelines and extract-transform loads
(ETLs); Azure Data Factory experience is a plus
Experience in designing dashboards in the market leading BI
products like Tableau, Micro Strategy, or Power BI
Understanding of enterprise Architectural Principles and how they
Influence design
Perform code reviews and ensure compliance with application
quality, coding, UI and Corporate standards.
Experience with platforms like Microsoft Azure, AWS or Google
Cloud
Experience in Emerging technologies including Serverless
Architecture, distributed computing, Advanced Analytics, AI/ML,
Experience with private and public cloud architectures, pros/cons,
and migration considerations.
Well versed in building product-quality software on native cloud
platforms
Solid Hands-on experience in designing for high availability,
Multi-region cloud architectures using virtual networks,
availability sets, affinity groups as well as DevOps pipelines.
Excellent verbal, presentation, and written communications
skills.
Education:
Bachelors' degree in Computer Science or equivalent
TOGAF certification is a big plus

Compensation:
Target salary range CA, CT, CO, NY, WA:: $136,800-$191,650
