Job Description:
* We're looking for full-stack web developers. What that means to
us is that you are a well-rounded professional developer who is
fluent in each of the technologies that make up our core product
engine.
* You're completely at home in Visual Studio writing solid C# .Net
MVC code.
* You may not be a DBA, but you have no problem navigating a
database structure in Management Studio and writing SQL queries and
stored procedures.
* You're experienced in both consuming and developing RESTful web
services.
* You may not be a designer or specialized front end developer, but
you have strong knowledge and skills with HTML and CSS.
* You have a solid understanding of client-side development and are
very comfortable writing JavaScript. Software development isn't
just a job for you.
* You're passionate about technology and are constantly polishing
your skills, learning new techniques, patterns, frameworks,
etc.
Job Duties:
* Satisfy internal and external customer requirements through
developing new functionality and enhancing existing functionality
within our products. Work includes developing detailed
specifications from which applications will be designed, written,
coded, and tested.
* Partner with product owners to define requirements and software
design. Evaluate feasibility and make recommendations, considering
things such as customer requirements, time limitations, system
limitations, and best practices. Mentor other team members in
learning this process.
* Explore and research new and alternate technologies and
platforms. Evaluate, recommend, and apply these alternate/new
technologies, disseminating information throughout the
team/department. This includes documenting large and complex
assignments for knowledge transfer and developing expertise in
multiple areas. Mentor other team members on area(s) of expertise.
Provide technical guidance on a wide range of systems/projects.
Job Qualifications:
* 5+ years of full stack development experience building
large-scale web applications using the .NET Framework.
* Fluent in C#, MS-SQL Server, Web API, HTML/CSS, and
JavaScript.
* Relational Database Design experience, with a high degree of
proficiency with SQL Server and complex stored procedures.
* Familiarity with ORM systems such as Entity Framework, Dapper or
NHybernate.
* Experienced in writing unit and integration tests.
* Interest in mentoring and educating development teams on
technology topics to improve our products.
* Experience in implementing responsive front-end UI experiences
using JavaScript, jQuery, and AJAX techniques, along with CSS,
VueJS, and Bootstrap.
* Customer oriented: meets individual commitments, works with the
team to achieve team commitments, responds to request in a timely
manner, willing to help.
* Able to translate conceptual ideas into projects and tasks.
* Able to translate business needs to technical requirements.
Bonus Skills:
* Real estate appraisal related knowledge and experience.
* Pair programming or TDD experience.
* An understanding of CI/CD.
