Electronic Systems Design Engineer to be located in Oklahoma City,

designers & engineers making history.Position Overview:Boeing
Defense Space & Security Airborne Surveillance Command & Control
(ASC2) Electronic Systems. This role is responsible for validating
various complex communication, sensor, electronic warfare and other
electromagnetic systems and components and integrating their design
with multiple other teams. Applies electronic/electrical
engineering principles, other engineering disciplines and
scientific principles, for the design, analysis, validation and
support of system, equipment and wiring.Position
Responsibilities:
- Develops and validates requirements for various complex
communication, sensor, electronic warfare and other electromagnetic
systems and components.
- Develops and validates electromagnetic requirements for
electrical\electronic systems, mechanical systems, interconnects
and structures.
- Develops architectures to integrate complex systems and
components into higher level systems and platforms.
- Lead system trade studies, proposal estimates, develop clear
and concise presentation of complex technical issues and their
associated resolution plans.
- Work process/tool improvement actions associated with systems
engineering and program management processes
- Develop/maintain metrics for key program activities.
- Participate on or chair failure review board, Engineering
Review Board, and Risk, Issue, and Opportunity processes.
- Technical responsibility for all hardware selection and
interface control document development for electronic systems
- Provide proposal Basis of Estimate for the Phase 6 program in
areas of responsibility
- Support development and test lab/facilities definition and bill
of material development for electrical\electronic systems
- Support development of Supplier Statements of Work for
electrical\electronic systems suppliers
- The AEW&C program is focused on international support.
Occasional travel may be required, both domestic and
international.This position requires the ability to obtain a US
Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US
Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance
Post-Start is required.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and
Experience):
- Bachelors of Science degree from an accredited course of study,
in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry
required.
- 7 or more years of development and integration or supporting
electronic systems: - electronic attack, electronic intelligence,
and electronic warfare systemsPreferred Qualifications (Desired
Skills/Experience):
- Strong -organizational, interpersonal, and problem solving
skills.
- Demonstrated a strong work ethic and sense of urgency for
completing assigned work with a history of meeting
commitments.
- Ability to adjust priorities to multiple demands and
unanticipated events.
- Active security clearance is preferred but not required
- Boeing Defense Experience preferred but not required.Typical
Education & Experience:Education/experience typically acquired
through advanced technical education from an accredited course of
study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or
chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 7 or more years' related
work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education
and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+5 years' related work experience).
In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not
required, accreditation standard.Relocation:This position offers
