The Lifeguard (On-Call) supports the FAA Instructors by monitoring
subjects participating in water research activities or water
survival training activities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other
duties may be assigned.
Responsible for the integration of CNI Core Competencies into daily

Monitors subjects participating in water research activities or
water survival training activities.
Monitors activities in swimming areas to prevent accidents and
provide assistance to swimmers.
Cautions swimmers regarding unsafe areas.
Rescues swimmers in danger of drowning and administers first aid,
including cardiopulmonary resuscitation and automated external
defibrillator (CPR/AED) procedures.
Provides emergency care and treatment until the arrival of medical

Plans daily activities within the guidelines of company policy, job
description and supervisor's instruction in such a way as to

Responsible for keeping own immediate work area in a neat and
orderly condition to ensure safety of self and coworkers. Will
report any unsafe conditions and/or practices to the appropriate
supervisor and human resources. Will immediately correct any unsafe
conditions to the best of own ability.
Promotes and encourages a culture of compliance with all applicable
rules (federal, state, local, Federal Acquisition Regulations, Code
of Federal Regulations, Prime Contract requirements, etc.) for
themselves and the company as a whole. Fosters an environment in
which they will report any violations or reasonably suspected
violation of CNI policy, FAR, and/or CFR and are comfortable
discussing the myriad compliance, conflict, FAR, CFR, etc. issues
that arise during the performance of a government contract.
High School Diploma and a minimum of three (3) years of experience
with the ability to recognize and prevent injuries, perform water
rescue, first aid, and professional rescuer CPR/AED. The Lifeguard
must be in good health and a minimum of 21 years old.
CERTIFICATES / LICENSES / REGISTRATION
Current valid Red Cross or equivalent certification is required on:
Lifeguard, AED, CPR and First Aid.
