Job Description:
USMD part of OptumCare is a multi - specialty group of hospital,
clinics and physicians. USMD serves the Dallas - Fort Worth
metropolitan area with more than 250 physicians and associate
practitioners, and provides healthcare services to patients in more
than 20 different specialties at its 2 hospitals, 4 cancer
treatment centers and nearly 50 physician clinics, many of which
are multi - specialty.The Patient Access Representative 1 SSM Float
is responsible for greeting patients and collecting, recording,and
balancing payments.This position is full - time (40 hours / week),
Monday - Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work
any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours
of 2:45 PM - 11:15 PM. It may be necessary, given the business
need, to work occasional overtime. Our office is located at 900
NORTH LEE AVENUE, OKLAHOMA CITY, OK. This position requires
Tuberculosis screening as well as proof of immunity to Measles,
Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Tetanus, Diphtheria, and Pertussis
through lab confirmation of immunity, documented evidence of
vaccination, or a doctors diagnosis of disease.Primary
Responsibilities:
Greets patients as they arrive and
manages 20 minute wait timeAssists patient with intake processes
including copying required documentsCollects co - payments, co -
insurance and deductibles and issues receiptsManages cashier box
and daily deposits according to company policiesProcesses walk - in
patients and visitorsAnswers phones and schedules
appointmentsManages medical records (maintains, files / scans,
prepares for schedule)Ensures all correspondence is scanned and /
or filed in a timely mannerProcesses requests for medical records
release and maintains appropriate logsPerforms all other related
duties as assignedYoull be rewarded and recognized for your

in.Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma / GED (or higher)
- 1+ years of related work experience including data entry
- Ability to work any 8-hour shift between the hours of 2:45 PM -
11:15 PM from Monday - Friday
- Full COVID-19 vaccination is an essential job function of this
role. Candidates located in states that mandate COVID-19 booster
doses must also comply with those state requirements. UnitedHealth

Qualifications:
- ICD - 9 and CPT coding experience
- Bilingual fluency in English and SpanishSoft Skills:
- Ability to accurately sort and file materials by alphabetic or
numeric systems
