Paycom Support Specialist

Job Description:

The Paycom Support Specialist is responsible for providing accurate and timely support to the Paycom Service and operations departments.  This role requires coordination, research and outreach with multiple internal partners.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Completes various operations projects assigned by Team Leader; ranging from system setup to document review and delivery
  • Completes interdepartmental requests to complete specific payroll operations based tasks
  • Processes payrolls for the Paycom Service department clients
  • End of day reconciliation/Transmissions Support

 

MINIMUM BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Certification:

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Bachelors and/or Associates Degree preferred

   Experience:

  • 3-5 years of customer service experience or equivalent
  • Demonstrated experience in customer relationships with moderately to very complex products and services. Examples would be insurance or financial services sales or service roles
  • Knowledge of basic auditing and reconciliation

   Skills/Abilities:

  • Demonstrates proficiency with Microsoft office, specifically in Excel
  • Demonstrated ability to use self-discretion, time management and prioritization of daily tasks and responsibilities
  • Customer Service Experience
  • Effective Communication Skills
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Detail oriented and well organized
  • Cooperative and able to effectively work on a team
  • Ability to perform research and effectively solve problems
  • Ability to research complex issues
