Responsible for a variety of tasks relating to the purchasing
for the agency.
Evaluates all purchase requisitions and purchase orders in
preparation for payment process. Prepares purchase requisitions and
follows up on outstanding purchase orders. Identifies and resolves
potential purchasing problems; follows up to ensure timely and
accurate product delivery. Contacts vendors with discrepancies with
quantity and ensures the quality of the goods received is
Compares and negotiates prices amongst various vendors in order
to make sound purchasing decisions, works within a given budget to
purchase goods and services for an organization.
Completes various clerical and technical projects.
Maintains consistent work attendance and contacts supervisor on
a timely basis for needed late arrivals or absences.
Complies with all Agency Policies and Procedures.
Performs other duties as required and/or assigned by supervisor
and/or executive staff.

Position requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Must
demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to
effectively work cooperatively with various types and levels of
staff. Must be able to organize and manage large volumes of paper.
Must display proficiency in the MS Word processing software and
intermediate general computer skills. Must be able to bend, stoop,
move about facilities freely, move up stairs, have upward and
downward mobility for filing, have finger dexterity and sit for
extended periods. Must have and/or complete Core Level Co-Occurring
Training and Trauma Informed Training via myLearningPointe within
60 days of employment with NorthCare. Must have TB test within 12
months prior to employment with NorthCare, or obtain with 30 days
