The C-17 program has an integrated lab in Oklahoma City and
we’re looking for an entry level software engineer who will perform
the C-17 Avionics/Flight Control/Communication System Integration
Verification and Validation (IV&V).
The candidate will learn aircraft systems and work with
teammates to achieve the IV&V.
The candidate will develop, maintain and execute software test
scripts and will eventually participate in the software development
life cycle of the C-17 Software suite.
This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements,
therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is
required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent
resident, refugee, or asylee.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an
accredited course of study, in Electrical Engineering, Computer
Science, Mathematics, Physics or other technical degree
Some experience implementing software using C/C++
Typical Education/ Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced
technical education from an accredited course of study in
engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry
(e.g. Bachelor) or an equivalent combination of technical education
and experience. In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred,
although not required, accreditation standard.
This position is located in a location that does not offer
relocation. Candidates must live in the immediate area or
