Mid-Level Systems Engineers. Training Systems is responsible for
the design, manufacture, development, and maintenance of a wide
variety of commercial and military training devices. The applicant
would be primarily supporting the C-17 Training System platform, in
Oklahoma City, OK. Systems Engineering is an integral part of each
of these products and these products are integral parts of the
defense of multiple nations. Systems Engineering applies an
interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop
and verify a lifecycle balanced system of systems and system
solutions. Evaluates customer and /operational needs to define and
coordinate system performance requirements, integrate technical
parameters and assure compatibility of all physical, functional and
program interfaces. Performs various analyses to optimize total
system of systems and/or system architecture. Performs analyses for
affordability, safety, reliability, maintainability, testability,
human systems integration, survivability, vulnerability,
susceptibility, system security, regulatory, certification, product
assurance and other specialties quality factors into a preferred
configuration to ensure mission success. Develops the planning,
organization, implementation and monitoring of requirements
management processes, tools, risk, issues, opportunity management
and technology readiness assessment processes. Resolves
cross-functional technical issues The selected applicant will be a
member of a high performing, collaborative team and must be
self-motivated with a strong work ethic, excellent time-management,
and interpersonal skills. These teams use Agile methodologies to
support all aspects of product development, including project
management. The applicant will be encouraged to actively help the
team to continuously improve and develop innovative and creative
solutions to products and processes. The qualified candidate will
have experience in several of the following areas: Generating
subsystem requirements and publishing the specs, especially for
suppliers. Independently working in DOORS, including creating
requirements and linking between objects. Coordinating interface
definitions. The ability to support system design development The
ability to work with external suppliers. Due to the technical
complexity of these trainer systems experience with computing
infrastructure, trainers and training systems is desired, but not
required. Knowledge of aircraft and aircraft systems is a plus, but
also not required. Preferred Skills/Experience: Experience with
trainers and training systems Some travel may be required depending
on the job assignment. This position requires the ability to obtain
a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US

Skills and Experience): Bachelor's Degree from an accredited course
of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or
chemistry 5+ years of professional experience in Software
Development Professional experience with C++, C#, and/or Java The
ability to obtain a US Security clearance (post start), which
requires US Citizenship Desired Experience, Skills and
Qualifications: Preferred degrees are Electrical Engineering,
Computer Science, Computer Engineering and Mechanical Engineering.
Typical Education and Experience: Education/experience typically
acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited
course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics,
physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years'
related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical
education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work
experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred,
although not required, accreditation standard. Travel: Occasional
travel may be required (up to 10%). Relocation This position offers
