Job Description Job Description At Locke supply, the warehouse supervisor plays a vital role in ensuring customer satisfaction. This role manages inventory accuracy, proper storage of materials and order fulfillment. The warehouse supervisor’s effectiveness ensures the efficiency and productivity of the department operations. This role will be required to identify, develop and implement short- and long-term strategies which enhance profitability, productivity, and efficiency of Locke Supply. In addition, this position will review and analyze data, develop metrics that ensure customer satisfaction levels are attained at the distribution center level. Other duties as assigned. RESPONSIBILITIES: Maintaining accurate inventory records, understanding and monitoring stock, safe and accurate storage of materials and reduction of damaged materials. Manage associate hours, training, morale and evaluating employee performance. Ensure the efficient processing of materials. Maintaining a safe environment by training on safety procedures, adherence to safety protocols and enforcement procedures. Collaboration with other departments within the distribution center, branches, commercial division and the company headquarters. Sets productivity expectations and monitors’ progress Recommend and implement measures to improve distribution center standard operating procedures. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS: Strong organizational skills Effective communication skills with all levels of the organization Experience in inventory management and warehouse software management systems. High attention to detail, excellent organizational and time management skills. Forklift experience Warehouse supervisory and/or management experience.
