You will identify any problems in the system, anticipate issues and repair systems and software when necessary.The Day-to-Day:Oversees the installation, configuration and maintenance of server systems, personal computers, wireless networking, server racks and other related equipment, devices and systems.Troubleshoots systems and applications to identify and correct malfunctions and other operational difficulties.Researches, recommends and designs infrastructure for servers and associated systems.Implements policies, administers firewall, applies public key encryption to network applications, manage host security and file permissions.Participates in the evaluation and makes recommendations regarding the purchase of computers, server hardware, peripheral equipment and software.Works as a hands-on team member and supervisor with other technical staff, such as Helpdesk, security, development and reporting. support technicians to ensure connectivity and compatibility between systems.Acts as the liaison between System Administration team and all internal and external customersEnsures compliance with industry standards, methodologies, and expectations of work for System Administration and Helpdesk Teams.Performs additional related tasks and projects as required and assigned.Required Skills:Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and urgent situationsAbility to effectively communicate in a professional and courteous manner Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as collaboratively with a teamAbility to communicate objectives and manage to completion of objectivesAbility to document processes, design patterns and procedures for the SA team Excellent analytical skillsPerform regular backups and ensure data integrity and availabilityDevelop and implement database strategies, including database design, capacity planning, and disaster recoveryOptimize database performance through indexing, query optimization, and performance tuningTroubleshoot database-related issues and implement solutionsPerform database upgrades and migrations as necessaryCreate and maintain documentation related to system and database configuration, procedures, and best practicesExcellent verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal skillsSteadfast commitment to exceptional customer serviceExperience with twoor more of the following:ServersStorageNetworkData Center ManagementHelpdeskVmwareEducation and Experience:Bachelors degree with 2+ years experience, or5+ years experience related specifically to System/Network AdministrationThe Perks:Career growth and learningopportunitiesTiered bonus system based on team accomplishmentsFull menu of benefits including a matched 401kPaid time off as well as paid holidaysCMR is a 2023The Oklahoman Top Workplaces winner!Pre-employment drug screenings and criminal background checks are mandatoryCMR is an Equal Opportunity EmployerJob Type: Full-timePay: $47,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
