Job Summary: May teach classesin the Veterinary Technology curriculum as directed by the Department Head.Essential Job Functions: Maintain syllabus, assignments, and exams as necessary.Communicate progress in the course to students in a timely manner.Maintain accurate records of students' attendance and progress and provide them to administration in accordance with established institutional policies and procedures.Maintain a presence in the online classroom.Participate in student retention and persistence efforts.Support the mission of the program, division, and college.Foster a safe and effective teaching and learning environment.Completes all mandatory training.Performs other duties as assigned.Theduties listed in this job description are intended only as illustrations of thevarious types of work that may be performed.The omission of specificstatements of duties does not exclude them from the position if the work issimilar, related, or a logical assignment to the position.
