This position requires you to be eligible to receive a federal

Building off our Cloud momentum, Oracle has formed a new
organization - Oracle Health & AI. This team will focus on product
development and product strategy for Oracle Health, while building
out a complete platform supporting modernized, automated
healthcare. This is a net new line of business, constructed with an
entrepreneurial spirit that promotes an energetic and creative
environment. We are unencumbered and will need your contribution to
make it a world class engineering center with the focus on
excellence.
As a Database Administrator IC3, you will be responsible for
designing, implementing, maintaining, and/or supporting
business-critical database technologies and cloud databases to
provide structurally sound and secure data throughout solutions.
Other responsibilities will include:
Perform intermediate-level database tuning, performance monitoring,
and capacity management.
Triage and troubleshoot database alerts and issues, identify root
cause, and implement corrective action.
Perform intermediate-level query tuning, and triage and fix
performance tuning software issues.
Set up and maintain database backups.
Monitor and maintain database replication.
Apply database software updates and stand-alone hotfixes to client
environments.
Communicate with 3rd party software or hardware manufacturers as
needed to ensure optimal configuration and support.
Develop standardized work plans, documentation, processes, and
automation.
Responsibilities
Provide Development and/or Production support. This includes
creating primary database storage structures, designing and
creating primary objects, modifying database structure as necessary
for enhancements or performance, creating documentation, designing
interfaces, database objects, and creating plans. Monitor and
optimize performance of the database, plan for backup and recovery
of the database, and allocate system storage and plan future
storage needs. Create database-related scripts and programs to
support development and production environments. Research,
evaluate, design, test, recommend, and plan implementation of new
or improved RDBMS, ETL and database tools.Disclaimer:

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific
to the stated location(s)
California Pay Range: from $42.74 to $85.58 per hour; from $88,900
to $178,000 per annum. May be eligible for equity.
Colorado Pay Range: from $40.38 to $77.02 per hour; from $84,000 to
$160,200 per annum. May be eligible for equity.
New York City Pay Range: from $40.38 to $81.30 per hour; from
$84,000 to $169,100 per annum. May be eligible for equity.
Washington Pay Range: from $45.14 to $81.30 per hour; from $93,900
to $169,100 per annum. May be eligible for equity.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to
account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience and market
conditions, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products,
industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the
preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible

Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for
vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per
week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first
three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years
of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working
between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20
hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

Paid sick leave: 72 hours of paid sick leave upon date of hire.
Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each
year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.
