Description The NISC IV group at Leidos currently has an opening for Linux Server Administrator to work in our Oklahoma City, OK office. This is an exciting opportunity to use your experience helping the Customs and Border Patrol (CBP) server group.Primary Responsibilities

• Proactively maintain and develop all Linux infrastructure technology to maintain a 24x7x365 uptime service
• Engineering of systems administration-related solutions for various project and operational needs
• Maintain best practices on managing systems and services across all environments
• Fault finding, analysis and of logging information for reporting of performance exceptions
• Proactively monitoring system performance and capacity planning
• Manage, coordinate, and implement software upgrades, patches, hot fixes on servers, workstations, and network hardware
• Create and modify scripts or applications to perform tasks
• Provide input on ways to improve the stability, security, efficiency, and scalability of the environment
• Collaborate with other teams and team members to develop automation strategies and deployment processesBasic Qualifications
  • Previous working experience as a Linux Administrator for 4 years in addition to a bachelor's degree. Additional years of experience may be substituted for the degree.Preferred Qualifications
    • In depth knowledge of Linux: RedHat, CentOS, Debian and hands on experience with MySQLPay Range:Pay Range $66,300.00 - $102,000.00 - $137,700.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline onlyand not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
