External Funding & Technology Development EngineerDo you enjoy

Funding & Technology Development Engineer, you will continue
strengthening the external funding activities and the cooperation
with research institutes & Universities for technology development.
You will act as a focal point in managing multiyear funded
projects, coordinating internal and external partners. You will
have a genuine interest in technology and is flexible to adapt to a
global, challenging and dynamic environment. You will be required
to represent IET at critical meetings and contribute through
well-articulated briefings to institutional subjects & internal
audiences. You will support the execution related to the innovation
network, research projects potential funding proposals, and
projects execution to achieve goals and objectives in the following
areas:As an External Funding & Technology Development Engineer, you
will be responsible for:
- Coordinating proposal preparation (tech, time and cost), by
working with all the involved functions and managing relationships
with internal and external entities, leading gates for
approval.
- Managing a portfolio of funded projects, ensuring that project
goals and timelines are met, and that project reports are delivered
on time and to a high standard.
- Managing project execution, including checking costs
eligibility and documentation for technical and administrative
audits, as well as analyzing and implementing contracts and
obligations
- Ensuring that all projects are executed in accordance with
relevant regulations, policies, and procedures, and that funding is
properly accounted for and reported.
- Monitoring and reporting on project performance, including
tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) and preparing regular
performance reports.
- Coordinating and communicating with internal stakeholders,
including research teams and business units, as well as external
stakeholders, such as funding agencies and partners.
- Managing data analysis to define strategies to be implemented
in defining the research network and potential partners for
collaborations.
- Supporting University scouting for technology development.Fuel
your passionTo be successful in this role you will:
- Have a Master of Science in Engineering or other technical
disciplines from an accredited university or college.
- Have experience in managing and executing funded research
projects, including proposal writing and project management.
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills, with
the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external
stakeholders at all levels.
- Have effective interpersonal and relationship-building skills,
with the ability to develop and maintain partnerships with funding
agencies and research institutions.
- Have extensive analytical and problem-solving skills, with the
ability to identify and evaluate funding opportunities and develop
strategies to maximize their potential.
- Be able to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and
meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Have knowledge of relevant regulations, policies, and
procedures, as well as a thorough understanding of the funding
landscape in the relevant field.Desired Characteristics
- PhD from an accredited university
- Learning Agility: Learns quickly when facing new problems,
enjoy the challenge
- Familiarity with a variety of engineering areas
- IPMA certified or equivalent
- Familiarity with Intellectual Property managementWork in a way
