Our employees are not only part of history, they're making history.Northrop Grumman Aeronautics System has an opening for a Staff Software Testing Engineer to add to our team in Oklahoma City, OK!Essential Functions:--- Analyze, design, develop, test, modify and maintain C++ Simulation applications, scripts, and automated test utilizing software engineering best practices and standards--- Analyze, design, develop, test and modify data collection tool suites across a full software stack including data acquisition, analysis, and post processing utilizing software engineering best practices and standards--- Participate in the full life-cycle activities of software development to include requirements, modeling, design, implementation, unit and integration test, release, installation and maintenance of software products--- Support advanced systems in a state-of-the-art laboratory utilized for verification of a highly complex system through unit test, subsystem, and system level integration and test--- Participate in a process-oriented environment developing high quality products to our customers--- Familiar with HW Interfaces: MIL-STD-1553, ARINC 429, IEEE 1394--- Decomposition / comprehension of Interface Control Documents of varying complexity--- Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to interface with all levels of employees and managementThe selected candidate should thrive in a fast-paced work environment with high expectations, significantly diverse assignments, collaborative/team settings across all levels.Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering of Mathematics (STEM) discipline with 14 years of applicable experience; OR a Master's Degree in a STEM discipline with 12 years of applicable experience; OR a PhD with 9 years of applicable experience.
  • Active DOD Secret clearance
  • Ability to obtain and maintain program access (PAR). This PAR must be obtained within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the company to meet its business needs.Preferred Qualifications:--- Experience with Protocols: TCP/IP & UDP--- Experience with C++, C#, Python, SQL, .NET, RTCF, Angular JS--- Experience with designing / developing test automation scripts--- Experience developing OS agnostic software; Linux & Windows--- A current DoD Secret or Top Secret/SCI level security clearance, to include a Single Scope Background Investigation, a periodic reinvestigation, or an original adjudication date completed within the last 6 years--- Experience in developing/integrating enterprise solutions for C++/Python Experience in object-oriented programming and related technologies.--- Previous experience serving in a Lead role for a teamSalary Range: $127,700 USD - $191,500 USD Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
