Job Description:

$2,000 Sign-On BonusDEFINITION: Provides outpatient therapy for the purpose of improving the quality of life for the children and families served.SUPERVISION: Position is supervised by the program manager and/or supervisor.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Includes but not limited to):Mobile Community, School, and Office-based crisis intervention and therapy provided to children and families.Provides services that are welcoming, engaging and accessible. These services are recovery focused, strengths based, culturally competent, consumer centered, trauma informed, and co-occurring capable. Works as part of treatment team to meet the needs of the consumer in a timely and thorough manner. Interacts with consumers in a respectful, genuine and professional manner.Carries a differentiated caseload involving highly complex and difficult situations requiring intensive clinical services and extensive professional diagnostic and treatment experience.Provides crisis services, individual therapy, family therapy, group therapy and case management, as indicated by treatment plan development.Provides clinical supervision and technical guidance to other professional staff.Participates in staff consultations for the purpose of case presentation and diagnostic and treatment planning for consumers.Participates in weekly, mandatory program staff meeting.Maintains clinical records in a timely manner as required by agency, state or federal funding sources and accreditation authorities. Completes all required forms and maintains same in a manner consistent with requirements.Part time employees provide a minimum of 15 hours per week of direct services including at least two (2) therapy sessions at 5pm or after, per work week. Part-time staff weekly schedule, including direct consumer services and non-billable time (i.e. mandatory staff meetings, consultations and trainings) shall not exceed 29 hours per week.Full time employees spend at least 55% of work hours providing direct services to consumers including at least three (3) therapy sessions at 5pm or after, per work week.Participates in trainings/workshops related to child and family therapy, evidence-based practices and in expanding knowledge base in child mental health. Clinicians will be trauma informed, culturally competent, co-occurring capable, adoption informed, recovery focused and strengths based in their work with clients.Performs other duties as required and/or assigned by supervisor and/or executive staff.POSITION REQUIREMENTS:Requires a Masters degree in psychology, social work or other related human services field and licensure in the State of Oklahoma in one of the mental health disciplines or actively pursuing such. Must comply with all requirements to maintain professional licensure.As appropriate for specific job assignment, may be required to possess and maintain current CPR andFirst Aid. Must possess and maintain CAPE certification. If not current upon hire, must obtain within 30 days of employment with NorthCare. Local and out-of-state travel may be required. Must provide verification of a valid Oklahoma drivers license during employment with NorthCare. May be required to maintain and provide verification of current automobile liability insurance including uninsured motorist coverage when applicable to community based work. Must have and/or complete Core Level Co-Occurring Training and Trauma Informed Training within 60 days of employment with NorthCare. Must have TB test within 12 months prior to employment with NorthCare, or obtain within 30 days of employment with NorthCare.Must display proficiency in the MS Word processing software and intermediate general computer skills. Excellent written and oral skills are essential, along with strong organizational skills. Must be able to move about the facilities freely and sit for extended periods. Must demonstrate good interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate verbally with English-speaking consumers.Every NorthCare employee is responsible for adhering to any and all laws, professional standards and ethical codes that apply to his/her job responsibilities.Must be COVID 19 vaccinated and follow CDC guidelines regarding COVID vaccination and Boosters.
