Job Description:

Human Mode is an Oklahoma City based research company working on software projects in the areas of Virtual Reality, Artificial Intelligence, and Robotics. We are looking for a talented software engineer who is excited about the potential of Extended Reality technologies (including augmented, virtual, and mixed reality). As an XR software engineer you will work on our XR games and applications, enhance our SDK, implement multiplayer and network functionality, and strengthen our framework to help us build more robust games and applications in the future.Responsibilities* Quickly build prototypes and proof of concepts without sacrificing code quality* Work closely with programming and graphic design teams* Implement applications for multiple platforms including AR/VR headsets, mobile or the web* Implement SDK features* Build source libraries for use by other members of the team* Document SDK features for end users* Stay current with relevant tools and best practices in the field* Document and implement best practices* Design and maintain efficient and reliable code* Collaborate with management and the development team to help projects meet their deadlines* Assist the company in securing and maintaining intellectual property.Qualifications* Master's or bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering or electrical engineering* Strong Experience in C#, Java (or both)* Enthusiasm about building for AR/VR environments* Experience with version control* Experience delivering some complete project from backend to UI* Familiarity with 3D math and graphics fundamentals* Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.Preferred Qualifications* An interest in building cool stuff* Experience with commercial game platforms Unity3D or Unreal a plus* Experience with multiplayer networking (Photon etc.)* Some 3D or graphic design experience (game programming, modeling and animation etc.)* Willingness to quickly learn new platforms* Experience with Oculus, HTC Vive, Hololens a plus* Good multi-tasking and adaptability.Benefits and Perks* Full-time position* Retirement plan with company match* Health, dental, vision and life insurance benefits* Paid vacationsHuman Mode LLC is an equal opportunity employer providing opportunity to all individuals regardless of race, religion, creed color, gender, disability, age, sexual orientation, veteran status, national origin or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local law.
