Job Description:
Description Position Summary: Security secures premises of
property by patrolling, monitoring surveillance equipment, access
points and permitting entry. Provides direction during emergency
situations and helps maintain a safe and secure environment. Must
follow all safety policies and procedures and enforce program
policies and procedures. The use of walkie-talkies, desk phone or
cell phones to stay in contact with other security staff and/or
work therapy clients. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Executes security measures for the safety of the organization.
Respond to alarms and emergency situations. Guard and monitor
premises to prevent theft, property destruction, violence or rules
and safety violations. Call 911 or aid if necessary. Monitor
Cameras. Monitor entrance of property. Walk the campus to maintain
security. Ability to follow instruction from supervisor. Follow all
policies and procedures. Enforce program policies and procedures.
Other duties as assigned by the Operations Director and/or
President/CEO Qualifications Qualifications: Surveillance skills
Able to deal with emergencies Sound judgment, dependable, safety
