DescriptionEXAMPLES OF WORK PERFORMED:

• Provide support and leadership to the Systems Team
• Assists in the planning, design, documentation, and implementation of various systems to include desktop PC's, servers, network equipment, and software applications
• Monitors and maintains the printing infrastructure
• Develops, maintains, and monitors procedures for all server backups
• Organize and delegate tasks to the appropriate parties; monitors, plans, and coordinates the distribution of client/server software and service packs
• Makes recommendations for new equipment and services to purchase
• Works with various vendors for procurement; -assist in problem solving while leading by example
• Allocate and manage resources while also creating a collaborative work environment; coach team members to improve skills while also communicating goals
• Perform on-site and remote technical support
• Assist in the organization and inventory of all hardware and software resources
• Maintains excellent communication with the Infrastructure and Security Manager on all tasks and projects
• Creates and maintains good technical documentation
• May provide emergency on-call support on a rotating schedule. -EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS: Degree in computer science, MIS, or business administration supplemented with one or more courses or certifications in current technology preferred; two years and current experience as an administrator on a small to medium sized network of servers, desktop systems, and communications devices using current technology; knowledge of windows servers and desktop products; knowledge of setting up remote access for users; ability to administer a 500 to 1000 node network and be able to support network printers and multi function printers; working knowledge of current communication devices and protocols, server and desktop technologies; ability to manage multiple projects, activities, and tasks simultaneously; facilitation and change management skills; highly developed verbal and written communications; ability to learn and comprehend new technologies with minimal management; ability to repetitively use arms, hands and fingers; ability to communicate effectively with team members; positive attitude when working with customers; knowledge of employment, merchandise handling, and safety procedures. Must be at least 21 years of age with no more than 2 moving violations and 1 chargeable accident with in the last three years. PHYSICAL ACTIVITY REQUIREMENTS: To successfully perform the essential functions of the job, an employee must be able to perform the following: Stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pulling, talking, hearing/listening and repetitive motion. -Heavy Work: Lifting up to 20 lbs occasionally. -
