CCI - Registered Congenital Cardiac Sonographer (RCCS) - CCI -
Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) - CCI - Registered
Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) - CCI - Registered
Vascular Specialist (RVS) - BLS Must-Have: - Ability to apply
principles of cardiovascular and/or radiologic technology, medical
imaging, medical terminology, and positioning of patients. -
Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions. -
Ability to be sensitive to patients' physical and psychological
needs. - Ability to maintain accurate records and work accurately
with information. - Ability to draw conclusions and make
appropriate recommendations. - Ability to exercise discretion in
handling confidential information and to use sound judgment. -

Ability to understand operations, policies, and procedures. -
Ability to work and communicate effectively with staff, patients,

- Core knowledge and understanding of normal and abnormal anatomy
and physiology, technologies, and terminology in the primary
specialty. - Ability to apply core-level specialty theory,
practices, and techniques to perform, post-process, analyze, and
annotate study data or procedure documentation with general
supervision or assistance. Description: This entry-level position
works under immediate to general supervision and direction of a
mentor/preceptor. The role involves achieving initial competencies
to deliver specialized cardiovascular and/or radiologic technology
services to patient populations. The position aids medical staff in
the diagnosis, care, treatment, and surveillance of various
conditions. Responsibilities include providing patient-centric care
and support services in multiple care settings. The technologist
prepares patients for procedures and correlates clinical history
with orders. Collaboration with patients, families, and the
multidisciplinary team is essential to implement necessary actions
for desired outcomes. The technologist utilizes specialized
equipment and techniques to perform diagnostic, interventional, and
surgical procedures. Post-procedure review is conducted to ensure
all elements are completed and documented accurately. Images and
data are transferred to archival systems, and technical findings
are prepared for physician reporting. Operator-level quality
control checks and other maintenance tasks are performed per
guidelines. Participation in continuing education and professional
development activities is expected. Additional duties may be
