Registered Respiratory Therapist Location: Oklahoma City, OK Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,506 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/20/2026 About the Position Job Title: Respiratory Care Practitioner Profession: Respiratory Care Practitioner RRT Specialty: Pediatrics Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: None required; two years of respiratory care experience in a critical care setting preferred. License: Licensed by the state board of medical licensure and supervision as a Respiratory Care Practitioner. Certifications: Registered by the National Board of Respiratory Care; Current Basic Life Support issued by the American Heart Association; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support within three months of hire; Registered Respiratory Therapist credential must be received within 12 months of hire. Must-Have: Knowledge of procedures and techniques of Respiratory Therapy and the operation and repair of respiratory equipment. Description: Under general supervision, the practitioner will provide services for the Respiratory Therapy Department in a timely and efficient manner for all appropriate age levels. Responsibilities include administering therapeutic treatments as prescribed by attending medical staff. The practitioner will record treatment information and patient treatment responses in their computerized medical record. Acting as a resource person to medical staff is essential. The practitioner will perform invasive and noninvasive diagnostic testing and monitoring of patients. Providing age-appropriate care to patients is required. The practitioner will ensure that respiratory equipment is cleaned and maintained. Maintaining necessary respiratory therapy records is a key responsibility. Participating as part of the quick response team for cardiac and respiratory arrests is expected. Additional duties will be performed as assigned.
