Registered Respiratory Therapist Location: Oklahoma City, OK Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,380 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/13/2026 About the Position Job Title: Respiratory Care Practitioner Profession: Respiratory Care Practitioner RRT Specialty: Respiratory Care Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years of respiratory care experience in a critical care setting preferred. License: Licensed by the Oklahoma Board of Medical Licensure and Supervision as a Respiratory Care Practitioner. Certifications: Registered by the National Board of Respiratory Care. Must-Have: Current Basic Life Support issued by the American Heart Association required upon hire. Description: Under general supervision, the Respiratory Care Practitioner will provide services for the Respiratory Therapy Department in a timely and efficient manner for all appropriate age levels. Administers therapeutic treatments as prescribed by attending medical staff. Records treatment information and patient treatment responses in their computerized medical records. Acts as a resource person to medical staff. Performs invasive and noninvasive diagnostic testing and monitoring of patients. Provides age-appropriate care to patients. Ensures that respiratory equipment is cleaned and maintained. Maintains necessary respiratory therapy records. Performs as part of the quick response team for cardiac and respiratory arrests. Performs other duties as assigned. Knowledge of procedures and techniques of Respiratory Therapy and the operation and repair of respiratory equipment is required. Clinical decision-making skills appropriate to patient care related to the pulmonary and cardiac system and to the age of the patient are necessary. Ability to interpret the appropriate information to identify patient needs is essential. Ability to work under stress is required. Good interpersonal skills are necessary. Ability to maintain a good working relationship with coworkers and staff is important. Some computer skills are needed. Graduation from an approved Respiratory Care Program is required. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support within 3 months of hire is required. The Registered Respiratory Therapist credential must be received within 12 months of hire.
