Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/30/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: /n RN - Medicine Specialty /n/n Job Details: /n • Med/Surg and Stepdown experience required /n• 1 year travel experience required /n• Level one preferred /n• Provide nursing care to patients with health problems ranging from simple to complex /n• Assume responsibility for an assigned group of patients /n• Document patient responses to nursing interventions and prescribed medical treatments /n• Assist physicians in examinations and minor diagnostic procedures /n• Obtain and monitor physiological data of patients /n• Administer medications as prescribed /n• Initiate, regulate and monitor intravenous infusions and blood products /n• Interact with family and patients regarding care plans during hospitalization and discharge /n• Make referrals regarding patient care needs to appropriate personnel /n• Delegate tasks to support staff /n• Required: Associate's Degree in Nursing from accredited program /n• Required: Current RN License issued by Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or multistate compact RN License (eNLC) /n• Required: Current Basic Life Support certification from American Heart Association /n• Required: 1 year of nursing experience /n• Must have knowledge of professional nursing theory, practices, and procedures /n• Strong verbal and written communication skills required /n• Computer skills necessary /n/n Facility: /n This major academic medical center serves as a premier healthcare institution providing comprehensive medical services and advanced patient care.
