Registered Nurse (RN) | Med/Surg / Telemetry Location: Oklahoma City, OK Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,906 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 12 Weeks Start Date: 4/14/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nurse Specialty: Med/Surg/Telemetry Duration: 12 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years of Med/Surg Telemetry experience required. Experience with pacemakers, IV insulin protocols, and Continuous Bladder Irrigation (CBI) is essential. License: Current and valid nursing license required. Certifications: BLS, EKG Course/Telemetry test, NIHSS, and ACLS are required prior to the start date. Must-Have: Ability to float within the scope to meet facility needs. Candidates must be willing to float to other areas as necessary. No license hits accepted. Description: This position requires a registered nurse with experience in Med/Surg Telemetry. Candidates should be knowledgeable in interpreting dysrhythmias and remote telemetry monitoring. The nurse will utilize rapid response and code teams as needed. Responsibilities include managing pacemakers, IV insulin protocols, and providing care for feeding tubes. Nurses will also handle Continuous Bladder Irrigation and pre/post hemodialysis management. Other duties involve blood product administration, central line management, phlebotomy, and starting and maintaining IVs. Nurses must be familiar with heparin protocols, patient-controlled analgesia, and surgical drains. Oxygen administration and isolation precautions will also be part of the role. The unit has an interdisciplinary team that includes physical therapy, respiratory services, and social services.
