Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Electrophysiology Technician - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 03/30/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Allied Position Job Notes: /n/n Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. /n/n Opportunity: /n Interventional Technologist I - IR Tech /n/n Job Details: /n • Entry-level position working under immediate to general supervision and direction of a mentor/preceptor /n• Provide specialized cardiovascular and/or radiologic technology services to adult and/or pediatric patient populations /n• Prepare patients for procedures and correlate clinical history with procedures ordered by physicians /n• Utilize highly specialized cardiovascular and/or radiologic equipment and techniques /n• Perform diagnostic, interventional and/or surgical procedures according to established scope of practice guidelines /n• Conduct post-procedure reviews to confirm completion and documentation of all required elements /n• Transfer images and data to archival systems and enter technical data/findings /n• Perform operator-level quality control checks, cleaning, and high-level disinfecting /n• Participate in continuing education, professional development and research activities /n• Must possess core knowledge of normal and abnormal anatomy and physiology /n• Required to have one of the following certifications: ARDMS (RDCS or RVT), ARRT (Vascular Interventional Radiography, Cardiac Interventional Radiography, or Radiography), CCI (RCCS, RCS, RCIS, or RVS), and BLS /n• Must be able to work as part of a team and follow instructions consistently /n• Ability to remain calm in stressful situations and multi-task effectively /n• Must demonstrate attention to detail and work with minimum supervision /n/n Facility: /n This academic medical center is a leading healthcare institution that provides comprehensive medical services including specialized cardiovascular and radiologic technology services.
