Exact pay package may vary based on guaranteed hours,/n distance being traveled, and customizations available for travelers. /n Duties: General Description:/nUnder general supervision, will provide services for the Respiratory Therapy Department in a timely and efficient manner for all appropriate age levels and in all areas that are served by the department./n/nEssential Responsibilities:/nResponsibilities listed in this section are core to the position. Inability to perform these responsibilities with or without an accommodation may result in disqualification from the position./nAdministers therapeutic treatments as prescribed by attending medical staff./nRecords treatment information and patient’s treatment response in their computerized medical record./nActs as a resource person to medical staff./nPerforms invasive and noninvasive diagnostic testing and monitoring of patients./nProvides age appropriate care to patients./nEnsures that respiratory equipment is cleaned and maintained./nMaintains necessary respiratory therapy records./nPerforms as part of the quick response team for cardiac and respiratory arrests./n/nGeneral Responsibilities:/nPerforms other duties as assigned./nSkills: Experience:/nNone required./nTwo (2) years of respiratory care experience in a critical care setting preferred./n/nKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:/nKnowledge of procedures and techniques of Respiratory Therapy and the operation and repair of respiratory equipment./nClinical decision making skills appropriate to patient care as it relates to the pulmonary and cardiac system and to the age of the patient./nAbility to interpret the appropriate information to identify patient’s needs./nAbility to work under stress./nGood interpersonal skills./nAbility to maintain a good working relationship with coworkers and staff./nSome computer skills./nKeywords:/nEducation: Education:/nGraduation from an approved Respiratory Care Program./n/nLicense(s)/Certification(s)/Registration(s) Required:/nLicensed by the Oklahoma Board of Medical Licensure and Supervision as a Respiratory Care Practitioner./nRegistered by the National Board of Respiratory Care./nCurrent Basic Life Support issued by the American Heart Association required upon hire./nAdvanced Cardiovascular Life Support (American Heart Association) within 3 months of hire./n Medical Solutions Allied Job ID 1067640.
