Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Oklahoma City,
Oklahoma. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: ICU -
Intensive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 04/06/2026 -
Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights -
Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - Trauma ICU Job Details: •
Level one ICU Trauma experience required (must have directly worked
in ICU at a level 1 facility for 1 years) • 1 year travel
experience required • Cardiac experience required • Provide nursing
care to patients with health problems ranging from simple to
complex • Assume responsibility for an assigned group of patients •
Document patient responses to nursing interventions and prescribed
medical treatments • Assist physicians in patient examinations and
minor diagnostic procedures • Obtain and monitor physiological data
of patients • Administer medications as prescribed • Initiate,
regulate and monitor intravenous infusions and blood products •
Interact with families and patients regarding care plans and
discharge planning • Delegate tasks to support staff • Required
certifications: Current RN License (Oklahoma State Board of Nursing
or multistate compact eNLC), Basic Life Support (AHA), ACLS
(American Heart Association) • Associate's Degree in Nursing from
accredited program required • Bachelor of Science in Nursing
preferred • Computer skills and strong verbal/written communication
