Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Nephrology - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/23/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - FS Job Details: • Provide nursing care to patients with health problems ranging from simple to complex under general supervision • Medical/Surgical and Stepdown experience required • Charge experience is highly preferred • Must be familiar with central line care and management, foley care and management, and end of life care • Knowledge of nephrology care including proper dialysis site care (HD catheter and fistula management) • Assume responsibility for assigned group of patients • Document patient responses to nursing interventions and prescribed medical treatments • Assist physicians in patient examinations and minor diagnostic procedures • Obtain and monitor physiological data and intervene when necessary • Administer medications as prescribed • Initiate, regulate and monitor IV infusions and blood products • Interact with families and patients regarding care plans and discharge planning • Make referrals to appropriate personnel for patient care needs • Delegate tasks to support staff • Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required • Associate's Degree in Nursing from accredited program required • Current Oklahoma RN License or multistate compact RN License required • Current BLS certification from American Heart Association required • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred Facility: This major academic medical center serves as a leading healthcare institution providing comprehensive medical services and advanced patient care.
