Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/23/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - FS Job Details: • Provide nursing care to patients with health problems ranging from simple to complex • Med/Surg and Stepdown experience required • 1 year of travel experience required • Level one preferred • Required certifications: Current RN License issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or current multistate compact RN License (eNLC), Current Basic Life Support issued by the American Heart Association • Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program required • Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred • 1 year of nursing experience required • Assume responsibility for an assigned group of patients • Document patient responses to nursing interventions and prescribed medical treatments • Assist physician in examination of patients and performing minor diagnostic procedures • Obtain and monitor physiological data of patients • Administer medications as prescribed and monitor intravenous infusions and blood products • Interact with family and patients regarding care plans and discharge planning • Delegate tasks to support staff • Maintain good working relationships with other employees • Demonstrate good verbal and written communication skills • Basic computer skills required Facility: This major academic medical center serves as a leading healthcare institution providing comprehensive medical services and advanced patient care.
