Trustaff is seeking a travel nurse RN Pediatrics for a travel
nursing job in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Job Description &
Requirements - Specialty: Pediatrics - Discipline: RN - Start Date:
03/30/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12
hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse –
Pediatric Float | Travel Contract Licensure & Certifications:
Active OK or Compact License BLS (AHA) required PALS (AHA) required
Education: Associate Degree in Nursing from an accredited program
required BSN preferred Qualifications: Minimum 1 year of RN
experience Level I Trauma experience required Ability to float
across pediatric units, including: - Acute care (surgical,
behavioral health, med specialty: GI, neuro, respiratory) -
Hematology/Oncology - Stepdown - Cardiac pediatric units Experience
with tracheostomy care and high-flow oxygen Familiarity with IV
infusions and basic pediatric skills Ability to work effectively in
high-acuity pediatric care Strong verbal and written communication
skills Ability to respond to diverse cultural and language needs
Basic computer skills Assignment Type & Schedule: Holiday and
weekend coverage required Float across multiple pediatric units;
NICU experience limited to low-acuity feeder-grower patients Under
general supervision, provides nursing care to pediatric patients
ranging from moderate to high acuity. Delivers safe, evidence-based
care while collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to
optimize patient outcomes. Responsibilities Include: Provide care
for an assigned group of patients Monitor, assess, and document
patient responses to treatments and interventions Administer
medications, IV therapy, and blood products Assist physicians with
examinations and minor procedures Educate patients and families on
care plans, procedures, and discharge instructions Monitor patient
status and intervene as necessary Coordinate care and make
referrals to appropriate personnel Delegate tasks to support staff
