ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - FS Job Details: • Provide nursing care to patients with health problems ranging from simple to complex • Must have MS/SD (Medical Surgical/Step Down) experience required • ICU experience preferred • Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required • Assume responsibility for an assigned group of patients • Document patient responses to nursing interventions and prescribed medical treatments • Assist physicians in examination of patients and performing minor diagnostic procedures • Obtain and monitor physiological data of patients and intervene when necessary • Administer medications as prescribed and monitor intravenous infusions and blood products • Interact with families and patients regarding care plans and discharge planning • Make referrals regarding patient care needs to appropriate personnel • Delegate tasks to support staff • Required: Associate's Degree in Nursing from accredited program • Required: Current Oklahoma RN License or multistate compact RN License (eNLC) • Required: Current Basic Life Support certification from American Heart Association • Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred Facility: This major academic medical center serves as a premier healthcare institution providing comprehensive medical services and advanced patient care.
