Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Oklahoma City,
Oklahoma. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: PCU -
Progressive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP -
Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights -
Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - FS Job Details: • Provide
nursing care to patients with health problems ranging from simple
to complex • Med/Surg and Stepdown experience required • Minimum 1
year of nursing experience required • Assume responsibility for an
assigned group of patients • Document patient responses to nursing
interventions and prescribed medical treatments • Assist physicians
in patient examinations and minor diagnostic procedures • Obtain
and monitor physiological data of patients • Administer medications
as prescribed • Initiate, regulate, and monitor intravenous
infusions and blood products • Interact with families and patients
regarding care plans and discharge instructions • Make referrals
for patient care needs to appropriate personnel • Delegate tasks to
support staff • Required: Associate's Degree in Nursing from an
accredited program • Required: Current RN License issued by
Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or multistate compact RN License
(eNLC) • Required: Current Basic Life Support certification from
American Heart Association • Preferred: Bachelor of Science (or
higher) in Nursing from Board Approved Program Facility: This major
