Job Description ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: /n RN - FS /n/n Job Details: /n • Provide nursing care to patients with health problems ranging from simple to complex /n• Med/Surg and Stepdown experience required /n• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required /n• Assume responsibility for an assigned group of patients /n• Document patient responses to nursing interventions and prescribed medical treatments /n• Assist physicians in patient examinations and minor diagnostic procedures /n• Obtain and monitor physiological data of patients /n• Administer medications as prescribed /n• Initiate, regulate, and monitor intravenous infusions and blood products /n• Interact with families and patients regarding care plans and discharge instructions /n• Make referrals for patient care needs to appropriate personnel /n• Delegate tasks to support staff /n• Required: Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program /n• Required: Current RN License issued by Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or multistate compact RN License (eNLC) /n• Required: Current Basic Life Support certification from American Heart Association /n• Preferred: Bachelor of Science (or higher) in Nursing from Board Approved Program /n/n Facility: /n This major academic medical center serves as a premier teaching hospital and Level 1 trauma center, providing comprehensive healthcare services throughout the region.
