Job Description ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel
nurse RN Neurology for a travel nursing job in Oklahoma City,
Oklahoma. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Neurology -

hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel
Opportunity: /n RN - Neuro PCU /n/n Job Details: /n • Provide
nursing care to patients with health problems ranging from simple
to complex in a neuro progressive care unit /n• Work on a stroke
and neurology floor that also serves orthopedic and spine patients
/n• Stroke experience and NIHSS certification preferred /n• May
need to precept new staff and work in virtual room settings /n•
Assume responsibility for an assigned group of patients /n•
Document patient responses to nursing interventions and prescribed
medical treatments /n• Assist physicians in examinations and minor
diagnostic procedures /n• Obtain and monitor physiological data of
patients and intervene when necessary /n• Administer medications as
prescribed /n• Initiate, regulate and monitor intravenous infusions
and blood products /n• Interact with families and patients
regarding care plans and discharge instructions /n• Make referrals
for patient care needs to appropriate personnel /n• Delegate tasks
to support staff /n• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required
/n• Associate's degree in nursing from accredited program required
/n• Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred /n• Current Oklahoma RN
license or multistate compact RN license required /n• Current BLS
certification from American Heart Association required /n• Strong
verbal and written communication skills required /n• Computer
skills and ability to respond to cultural and language needs of
