Gifted Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Travel Psychiatric Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our dynamic team, serving the community of Elk City, Oklahoma. As a Travel Psych LPN, you will implement nursing care plans, administer medications, and collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to enhance patient outcomes. This role requires adaptability and a strong commitment to patient-centered care in various psychiatric environments. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers. Monitor, record, and report symptoms and changes in patients' conditions. Collaborate with psychiatric team to plan and evaluate patient care interventions. Educate patients and families on treatment plans and mental health maintenance. Ensure the psychiatric facility’s standards and safety measures are met. Proficient in administering medications and maintaining records Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work effectively in high-stress environments Dedication to patient health and safety in a psychiatric setting Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Current LPN licensure in the state of Oklahoma Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Psychiatric-Mental Health Nursing certification (preferred)
