Locum Tenens Opportunity: Internal Medicine - Gastroenterology
Near RIPLEY, OK Overview Are you a Gastroenterology physician
seeking a rewarding locum tenens opportunity? We are currently
seeking a qualified physician to join our team near RIPLEY, OK.
This position offers the chance to provide essential care to
patients in need, with flexible scheduling options and ongoing
opportunities. Job Details Specialties: Internal Medicine -
Gastroenterology Department: Gastroenterology Start Date:
07-01-2024 End Date: Ongoing Coverage Type: Call Only Practice
Setting This position involves inpatient care within a dynamic
medical setting. The facility utilizes the Epic EMR system to
streamline patient care processes. While both inpatient and
outpatient settings are not required, the selected candidate will
play a crucial role in providing comprehensive care to patients.
Description/Other Details Provider Availability: Preference is for
providers with a minimum availability of 2 weeks per month. Patient
Load: Expect an average of 15-20 patients per day, with 5
procedures. Call Schedule: Calls typically range from 0-10 between
7:00 pm and 7:00 am. Expect 1-3 callbacks overnight per week.
Temporary Privileges: Temporary privileges are available. IMLC
Bids: The facility is not currently accepting bids from providers
outside of Oklahoma. Practice Details This role involves providing
essential gastroenterological care to patients in need. The
selected candidate will participate in both inpatient rounds and
call coverage. With an average patient load and reasonable call
schedule, this position offers a balanced work-life experience.
Requirements Board Certification: Board certification is required.
License Requirement: Active Oklahoma license only. Certifications
Required: ACLS certification is necessary. Credentialing Timeframe:
